The brightest symbol of the Christmas tradition is the decoration of the Christmas tree. Our team took an opportunity to support the initiative of the students in the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG) for the decoration of an 18m tall pine tree located in front of the campus in Studentski grad, Sofia, Bulgaria. The initiative started 5 years ago and turned into a tradition for the students living on campus.

With each year they add more and more decoration to the tree and the need for funding rises. To support that great initiative and help on its way of becoming one of the best-decorated trees in Sofia we made a donation to them. Due to the fact that the campus is located on a land owned by the municipality, a project for the decoration had to be prepared in order to get a permit for the decoration’s installation. We are proud that our team prepared the needed project so that the students managed to get permit successfully.

We would like to wish Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the students studying in UACEG. Never lose that passion, determination, and interest toward the engineering science which stands behind each building. Push hard towards your goals and remember that today with the decoration you changed the urban environment on a small scale, but tomorrow you will have the knowledge and power to make the world a better place.
